  • Gardenia fruit oil is obtained from the fruit after going through a series of procedures, say, softening, husking, extraction, pressing and so on. The oil is bright in color, light in taste, and aromatic in smell, with rich vitamin C, E, etc. It also contains rich trace elements, such as iron, magnesium and zinc, as well as bioactive composition, say, iridoids, triterpenes. Moreover, it contains crocetin, crocin, squalene, chlorogenic acid, ursolic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, and stearic acid. Fatty acid composition is outstanding, close to natural proportion of 1:1:1.It also shows very good physical and chemical indicators, such as heating test, acid value, peroxide value, smoke point, and frozen test, whose indicators are all better than national standards. The oil can prevent and restrain cancers because it contains precious crocetin and crocin.
