Easily soluble in water, soluble in ethyl alcohol, and insoluble in petroleum ether. Properties: it’s a kind of iridoid glycosides compound in white, off-white or light yellow crystal; shows positive reaction against alpha naphthol, hydroximic acid, and ferric trichloride. Color: brown with low content, white with high content.
